Lifestyle of Giving

Today's Scripture

"Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you." – Luke 6:38 NKJV.

Thoughts for Today

Here, Jesus promised everything we could ever want! Blessings that cannot even be measured, overflowing into every area of our lives—much more than we could imagine.

Even though the Bible makes it clear that God has prepared overwhelming
blessings for His people, we often fail to receive these blessings. Why? Perhaps because we limit our thinking. We may not feel worthy, or maybe we don't believe that God's promises could be true!

This is why Paul prayed that "the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know…the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe" (Ephesians 1:18-19). Receiving these blessings requires spiritual revelation, faith, and obedience.

Jesus specifically said that overwhelming blessing would result from a lifestyle of giving. When we give, we Sow Seeds into the "ground," unlocking a process that opens up the windows of Heaven. It sends a signal to God that we are laying up "treasures in heaven" and seeking first His Kingdom (Matthew 6:19-33).

When we Sow Seeds with the resources God has given us, we unleash the principles He has created in the universe. He stands ready to provide us with abundant blessings.

God has prepared these kinds of blessings for you. First, make sure that you
seek first His Kingdom and that Jesus is your Lord. Then learn to trust Him and believe His Word. Let Him open your mind and heart to the blessings He's prepared for you.

Commit yourself to a lifestyle of Sowing Seeds. Live in expectancy, always
believing, always trusting, always faithful, always giving.

Prayer: Our Loving Heavenly Father, I commit my time, talent, and treasure to You. I will Sow these gifts into Your Kingdom. Thank You for the abundant
blessings You have prepared for me. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully, In Jesus Loving Name I Pray, Amen."

Have a Blessed Sunday and God Bless you.
